The Zimmermans are a Boulder-based band that has been bringing the music of Bob Dylan to the Front Range since 2006. Their set blends a healthy mix of iconic songs with some of the hidden gems in the Dylan catalogue, providing something for everyone in the audience. The music is at times rocking, at times funky, and at times soulful, but always energetic. The band’s passion for Dylan’s music shines through at every show, reminding audiences why these songs are still as vital today as they were 30-40 years ago.
Ship of Fools is a celebration of the music of the Grateful Dead. This new arrival on the local scene is comprised of many music veterans, including Bill McKay (Bill McKay Band, Leftover Salmon), John McKay (John McKay Band), Edwin Hurwitz (Great American Taxi, Shakedown St.), Chris Carland (Bill McKay Band, Shanti Groove) and Jim Mullett (High Water, Hurtin' Kurtis). With soulful vocals, exploratory jams and plenty of boogie, they bring out the improv spirit of the Grateful Dead.
